After the Holiday's

Now that Christmas and New Year's has come to a close, this is the time of year that most of us spend the next few months trying to play catch up on virtually everything.  Many think that with the Holidays over we get to sit back and relax for a while.  Let's face it, for most moms it seems like that time never comes.  In reality, now is the time when we are figuring out how we're going to catch up on the bills and keep on on the new ones. And most fun of all, trying to get the house back to normal and the kids ready for the school routine after being out of it for 2 long weeks.  Basically it's work, work, and more work for moms this time of year.  For you single and working moms, and stay at home moms with more than 3 children, this also means pileing on more stress to the day. What all moms have to remember this time of year is not to forget yourselves.
You have to take time for you, even if it's only 5 minutes at a time.  When your overly stressed, your fuse is shorter and your unhappyness reflects on your children.  Taking a few minutes to breath and clear your mind can do wonders for how you project yourself to your family. And it can make all the difference in how you feel.
